Racing FAQs
What does a typical race day look like?
The team has a designated spot for our tents and gear. The space is set up in the morning and there is usually hot chocolate for everyone. Throughout race day, members of the team and their families can come and go as they want. Most people will stick around for the entire day, chilling at the tents and cheering on racers. Breakfast and lunch are provided for everyone. There are also opportunities to volunteer to bring food and to help out at the feed zone for each race. At the end of the race day everything is packed up.
How do I volunteer?
Before each race, the team will send out sign-ups for food and for the feed zone. Check the website, emails, and team chats for more information. To volunteer with the league to be a course marshal, race sweep, parking attendant, or other responsibility, check the link below:
How does the feed zone work?
There is a spot assigned to the team in the feed zone. The team is allowed only a certain amount of volunteers in the feed zone at a time. Volunteers will have a pass that lets them in and out of the feed zone. Their job is to hand water bottles and energy gels to racers from our team while they ride by. Items like tools, parts, or gear can not be passed through the feed zone.
Where can I find the current race rules?
The current edition of the Race Rulebook can always be found on the League website under Rulebook.
