GRiT stands for Girls Riding Together. It is a nationwide program that started in 2018 to get more girls riding bikes and participating in NICA. As of 2022, GRiT student athletes were at 24.9% participation and GRiT coaches at 25% participation but it is still far from the League’s ultimate goal of 33% female participation.

What is GRiT?

The team has strong girls grades 7-12 who enjoy having fun, biking, and creating lasting friendships. GRiT recognizes the need to get more girls riding. By hosting GRiT activities it helps create a more welcoming and connected environment for girls to join.

Every month we host a GRiT activity, such as swimming, parties, rides, etc.
